Daniel Ray

Daniel Ray, age 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2019. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ray, his sister in law, Joyce Ray and his brother in law, Virgil Murphy. Daniel was a graduate of Madison Memorial High School in Ohio. He worked with Waste Connections for 14 years. He loved the outdoors including fishing and working on and around the house. He loved to watch football and he was a Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoyed playing games on the computer. He could build anything and was known for helping anyone who was in need. Daniel was a Christian.Survivors include his wife, Jean Ray of Cleveland, his daughters, Jennifer Wilbanks and her husband George of Crab Orchard, Tennessee, Valorie Green and her husband Kenneth of Cleveland, Stephanie Killian and her husband Bryan of Ocoee, his grandchildren, Malachi Ray, Kenneth Green Jr., Cheyanne Green, his mother, Dorothy Ray of Madison, Ohio, his sisters, Peggy Barstow and her husband Roger of Spring City, Tennessee, Diana Murphy of Geneva, Ohio, his brothers, Bob Ray also of Geneva, Timothy Ray and his wife Tina of Spring City, his aunt, Bert Riddle, his uncle, Billy Ray and his wife Annette, his dog, "Yurii" and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 4:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Benny Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P. M. Sunday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
