David Alton Clayton

David A. Clayton age70 a resident of Crossville and formerly of Cleveland passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 at his home. He was born March 9 1950 to the late Clyde and Ruth Witt Clayton and was also preceded in death by his sisters Bobbie Berry, Mary Jo Wright and Ova Lee Yates. David was a former owner of a car parts store in Spencer TN., and most recently he worked at Flowers Bakery in Crossville. He was an avid football fan, he loved to read and work crossword puzzles and working on cars.He is survived by his daughters Brittany Michaels and her husband Christopher, and Megan Clayton, his brothers Tommy Clayton and Jackie Clayton.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held graveside Monday January 4, 2021 at 4pm at Hilcrest Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Yates officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:30 until 3:30 at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel.
