David L. Hardwick age 60 a resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday December 10, 2019 at the residence. David was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Hardwick along with numerous family, extended family and friends. He was a mail carrier with the United States Post Office with over 13 years of service. However his passion was working on boats. He was a certified boat mechanic. David also loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish and was proud of the fact that he taught his daughters how to hunt and fish. He was a proud country boy. He was of the Church of God faith. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years Marian Shelton Hardwick, his daughters Charity Blach and her husband Cory, Hope Ballinger and her husband Colby, the light of his life his grandson Ryan Chance Ballinger, his mother Iva Dean Hardwick, his “Pops” Charlie Brown, his sister Shirley Dean Rhodes and her husband Ric, 2 nephews Josh and Jeremy Freeman, his great niece Gracie Freeman, his special friends whom he considered his brothers Allen Gibson, Wes Eshenbrenner, Eddie Hall and Gene Delk. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 until 2pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave Chapel. At 2 o’clock family and friends will share memories and stories that they hold dear to their hearts of David and his life.
