Dorothy "Dot" Lee Craigo

Dorothy “Dot” Craigo age 92 a resident of McDonald passed away January 23, 2021 in a local health care facility. She was the daughter of the late William and Amanda Casteel and was also preceded in death by her husband Frank Craigo, her sister Aelene Belk, her brothers Stewart Casteel, Kenneth Casteel, Jerry Casteel, and her daughter in law Cindy Craigo. Dot was a member of Prospect United Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved to crochet, work in her flower garden, and she loved cooking especially for her family. She is survived by her son John Craigo, her grandchildren Calvin Craigo and his wife Amanda, Carrie Nelson and her husband Dustan, 5 great grandchildren, her sisters Geneva Moore, Mary Fowler, and Carolyn Steelmon along with several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Dr. Phil Sumrall officiating. The interment will follow at Earls Cemetery with Ronnie, Kendell, and Curtis Moore, Hudson, Nash, and Calvin Craigo, and Steve May serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home. Due to current COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve.
