I had the pleasure of working beside her for about 10 years. During all that time I never heard a harsh word toward anyone. She was always happy go-lucky. Rest in Peace, Flossie.
To Joan & Ronnie and the rest of Mrs. Waddell's family, we send our love and prayers. May God provide the strength needed during this time of loss.
Aunt Tom was so precious to me and my family. When she was still driving she would come all the way down to Chattanooga to get my mom Ruby Everett and take her home with her. They would leave laughing and having such a good time. They really loved each other. When I would go see Aunt Tom after mom passed away we would cry together and she would say she could still just see my mom sitting in that chair in her living room.
I would call her and we would talk about how good it is to know the Lord Jesus. When we were kids she would take us to church with her.We would go to the Baptist Church in the morning and with Aunt Tom to the Birchwood Church of God at night. She will never be forgotten.Someday soon we will see her again in heaven.

To Joan and Tom's other family members: Our sincere sympathy to all of you in the loss of your mom. She was a beautiful and fun lady. We were happy to get to know her through her sister whom we loved as our neighbor. Love to all of you. Bob and Nancy Boyd

Tom was one of the most precious ladies I've ever met! I loved her dearly! I had the pleasure of growing up and living next door to this sweet family, and became really close to her . She always lived such a Godly life and was a real inspiration to me! The one thing that really stands out to me is the most important decision I've ever made in my life, and that was when I gave my heart to Jesus at 9 years old! I had went to church with Tom and sherry at birchwood church of God, it was 1973 ,I will never forget that night! I am so thankful to have known her and this family! She will always be part of my testimony! I know without a doubt that she is walking the streets of Gold ! Rest in peace sweet Tommy! I will see you again someday!
Mamaw Waddell was a wonderful woman who was loved by many. I had the privilege to know her since I was very young. She always asked about me how I’m doing since I’ve had health problems. She was a great woman and loved her family dearly. She will be missed. Prayers for the family
