Eddie Hooker

Eddie Hooker, 77, a resident of Macon, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 in a Macon, Georgia health care facility. He was the son of the late Effie Pearl Black Hooker and George Franklin Hooker. His nephews, Chris Hooker, Anthony Hooker and John Roy also preceded him in death. Eddie attended the New Life Baptist Church in Dalton.Survivors include his sister, Margie Rea Hooker Roy (Clyde), Marietta, Georgia, brother, Reverend Randall Eugene "Gene" Hooker (Betsy Knight Hooker), Cleveland, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:30 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Eugene Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P. M.
