Edith Marie Nudd

Edith Marie Richardson Nudd, age 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on August 4, 2019 at a local assisted living and is now waiting for the Lord’s return. Born and raised in Rochester, NY she married her next-door neighbor and sweetheart, Floyd Nudd in 1949. In 1980, Floyd and Edith relocated to Cleveland where she was an active volunteer in the gift shop at the former Bradley Memorial Hospital and at the Bowman Hills Church.Preceding her in death were her parents, David and Marie Richardson, husband, Floyd Nudd, three brothers, and daughter Lynne Nudd Bandel. Survivors include her twin sister, Ethel Richardson Sattora of Rochester, NY, her children Garry (Donna) Nudd, Diane Nudd, Randy (Eileen) Nudd all of Cleveland, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes at 2603 N. Ocoee Street. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. and officiated by her grandson, Pastor Tabor Nudd and her church pastor, Richie Halversen. Interment will follow in the Collegedale Memorial Park with her grandsons Garrett Nudd, Brandon Nudd, Tabor Nudd, Aaron Bandel, Matthew Bandel, and Benjamin Nudd serving as pallbearers.Memorials may be made to the Bowman Hills School, Worthy Student Fund, 300 Westview Drive, Cleveland, TN 37312.
