Eileen Wilson Jones, 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the family residence. Eileen was born in Wilson, North Carolina and she was the daughter of the late Lucy Hall Wilson and Reverend James W. Wilson. She was retired from the Church of God International Offices in the Business and Records Department with almost 40 years of service. Eileen was a long time member of the North Cleveland Church of God.Survivors include her husband, Lenny Jones, son, Eddie Jones, daughter-in-law, Kim Jones, and 2 granddaughters, Chloe Jones & Macey Jones, two brothers, James W. Wilson, Jr. (Carol) of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, Bobby C. Wilson (Katherine) of Parkton, North Carolina, three sisters, Judy Tucker (Tommy) of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Lou Keeter (Paul) of Winterville, North Carolina, and Kim Moisley (Jim) of Hope Mills, North Carolina along with numerous nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 3 P. M. at the North Cleveland Church of God, Main Sanctuary with Dr. Mark Williams, Dr. Paul Keeter, Dr. Julian Robinson and Reverend Eddie L. Jones III officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11 A. M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Raymond Hodge officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 P. M. Saturday at the North Cleveland Church of God, Main Sanctuary. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements. Sister Eileen was a true jewel. She was always kind, loving, and I cherish the memories I have of her. She opened her home to me in 2007 and showed me the Love of Jesus. Eileen was a dear friend, so precious, always the same no matter what. I worked along side of her at International Offices for several years before moving to Knoxville. Did not get to see her very often, but she was such a sweet person. Our prayers are with Lenny, Eddie and the entire family. Rest in Peace, Eileen!! See you soon.

Eileen was a cherisded friend to us in the Ministry to the Military offices. She was not only kind but she was the consumate professional. We would sometimes bring her questions totally outside of her pervue of responsibility. She patienly and professionally would either answer our questions or directt us to someone who could. She was loved. She will be missed by all who's life she ever touched. Our prayers for Lenny, Eddie and for all of her family.
