Etta B. Poteet Donnahoo, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the home of her daughter, Charlotte, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Donnahoo was born in Ocoee , Tennessee, May 23, 1935 and she was the daughter of the late J. C. (Clifford) Poteet and Vassie Watson Poteet. Her husband, Gerald (Bud) Donnahoo also preceded her in death. Etta spent most of her life in Ocoee and she was a graduate of Polk County High School. She retired from American Uniform Company after 30 years of service. Etta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was member of the Cookson Creek Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Faye Swaggerty (Junior), Sandy Spence, Charlotte Peels (Chuck), grandchildren, Amy Headrick, Lindsay Prince (Cecil), Ian Spence, Shelbee Jordan, aunts, Lois McBryar, Rachel Poteet and several nieces, nephews and cousins.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Sunday March 27, 2022 at 3 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Mike Rymer and Reverend Chuck Peels officiating. Interment will follow in the Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Ian Spence, Cecil Prince, Hunner Peels, Gage Peterson, Bob Murphy and Craig Spence serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P. M. Sunday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
