Evelyn Carter, 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter and the last surviving child out of 8 to the late Tom and Georgie Chadwick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Carter and her granddaughter, Naticia Oursler. She is survived by her son, Harley Carter (Linda); grandchildren, Denise Carter and Bryce Carter; great grandchildren, Justin Oursler, Elizabeth McCoy, Madilyn Jacobs (Austin), Milana McNamara, Ewen Carter and Quinton Carter. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel. The interment will follow at Gordon Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Georgia with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Monday, June 12 from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
I met Evelyn Carter almost 3 years ago, and instantly loved her. She was an amazing lady and her smile could brighten up the darkest of places. She will be missed by so many that knew her. I know her presence is greatly missed already by those closest to her. We Love You Evelyn. See you soon!
