Fred Loren "Doc" Anderson

Fred Loren “Doc” Anderson, 91 of Cleveland left his earthly body Wednesday December 15, 2021 to join our Lord and Savior in heaven. He was the oldest surviving member of the Bancroft Church of God where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and served on the church council for several years. He retired from Cleveland State Community College with 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffery Anderson, father Doc Cleveland Anderson, mother Vinnie Moss Anderson, nephew Baobby Galloway, brothers: Carl, Gene and Verlin; sisters and brothers in law: Grace and Perry Parker, May and Neil Burrel, Rose and JB Manning, Lorette and Lewis Hyde, Dewayne and Bill Young and Pauline Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Katherin Stuman Anderson; sons: Verlin Anderson (Lola), Lebron Anderson; daughters: Fredanna Anderson, Jenell Lawson (Dean), Vickie Reno; grandsons: Heath and Aaron Lawson, Marus and Marvin Anderson; great grandchildren: Hannah Howard (Cole), Waylon Lawson, Madison Williams (Brandon) and Sarah Lawson; great great-grandchildren; Ivy Lynn Lawson, Maizey Brooke Williams and Holden Beau Howard, sister in law; Betty Dean Goforth along with several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday at 6pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Jeff Kesley officiating. The interment will be at 11am Tuesday at Earls Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Monday from 2pm until 6pm at the funeral home.
