George Price Jr.

George Price Jr. a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday February 10, 2018 in a local health care facility. He was the son of the late George W. Price Sr. and Maggie L. Nease Price and was also preceded in death by his brothers Carl and Henry Price. Mr. Price was a veteran of the United States Navy, he retired from Fulmarque Industries and was a member of South Cleveland Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Evelyn Price, his sons William Price of Charleston, Greg Price, his daughters Serethia Powers and Angela Whiteside all of Cleveland, grandchildren Tabatha Womac, Joyce Clingan, Victoria Register, Jayson Powers, Maggie Whiteside, Ginger Whiteside and Autumn Price, 11 great grandchildren his brothers Kenneth, Grover, John and Randall Price, his sister Lucille Laguire and several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave Chapel with Rev. Edwin Lipsey and Rev. Mark Williams officiating. The interment will be held Wednesday at 1:30pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
