Herman Ray Goins

Herman Ray Goins age 88 a resident of Ocoee St. passed away Thursday February 15, 2018 at the family residence. He was the son of the late Elmer and Lizzie Goins and was also preceded in death by his daughter Trisha Ann Collins a grandson Jason Wright and his brother Elmer Goins Jr. Mr. Goins was a member of the Bancroft Church of God and was a retired well known carpenter working for Larry Swafford and TVA.He is survived by his wife of 68 years Virginia “Shiny” Goins, his sons Gary Goins and his wife Linda, Mike Goins, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, his brother Roy Goins and his wife Betty. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. The interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
