Hilda White Webb

February 8, 1953 - April 2, 2022

Hilda White Webb, 69, passed peacefully at her home, April 02, 2022 following a short battle with cancer. Hilda was born in Cleveland, TN Feb 8, 1953 at Speck Hospital and she was the daughter of the late James "Ott" White and Stella Rose Cartwright White. Her grandparents, James Harrison White & Dorothy Gibson White Howard, and Winston and Pearl Guffey Cartwright, her husband Hubert Webb, sister Linda White Waters and daughter in-law Patti Bearden Goins also preceded her in death. Hilda worked most of her life in the restaurant business, once owning her own restaurant in Cleveland. She worked at Sugar and Spice, North & South Truck Stop, Coffee Cup, she owned the Chat and Chew Restaurant and recently worked for Chatata Valley Golf Course snack bar. Hilda was a people person, she never met a stranger. If you made a friend in her, you had a lifetime friend. "Hilda was easy to like and get along with", these are words from her recent neighbors. Hilda is survived by her son, Troy Goins, daughter Denise Patterson, her brother and sister in-law James "Bo" and Carolyn White, grandchildren Jennica Patterson Opperman, Crystal Patterson, Isaac Goins, her fur companion Pud-Pud and grand cats. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11 A. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery with Isaac Goins, Bo White, John Patterson, Brandon Opperman, Albert Robinson, Robert Robinson and Keith Webb serving as casket bearers. The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to SPCA of Bradley Co, TN, Dixie Day Spa or a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
