Ira Frank Robinson

Ira Frank Robinson, age 88, a resident of LaVergne, Tennessee and formerly of Cleveland, passed away, Saturday morning at his sons residence in LaVergne. Mr. Robinson was the son of the late Rosa Mae Corvin Robinson and Ralph Matt Robinson. His wife, Martha Creasman Robinson also preceded him in death. Mr. Robinson was retired from Cleveland Millwrights with many years of service. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Along with his wife Martha, they were long time members of the First Baptist Church, Cleveland.Survivors include his son, Richard Robinson of LaVergne, his brothers, John Henry Robinson, Henry Robinson and Lois Gill Robison, his sisters, Rosada Whitener and Loraine White and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. with Reverend Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow in the Sylar Cemetery in Ooltewah with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
