`James Robert "Bob" Ervin, age 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the family residence. Mr. Ervin was born in Charleston, Tennessee and he was the son of the late Lucille Jordan Ervin and Claude Ervin. His wife, Willie Ruth Ervin also preceded him in death. Mr. Ervin was a World War II Veteran. He owned and operated Bob Ervin's Upholstery Repair for 42 years. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Mr. Ervin attended the Church of God.Survivors include his daughters, Betty Ervin and her companion, Thomas Lachapelle and Barbara McDowell and her husband Yogi all of Cleveland, his son, Ray Ervin and his wife Renea of Ocoee, Tennessee, his grandchildren, Brad McDowell and his wife Sheila, Tifanie McDowell, Zack Ervin and his wife Amber, Brittany Goins and her husband Cody, Hollie Fetzer and her husband Tucker, his 11 great grandchildren, his 8 great great grandchildren, his sister, Willie Ruth Rapier of Cleveland and his nephews, Charlie Rapier and his wife Angie, Larry Rapier and his wife Mary, Joe Rapier and his wife Connie and Randy Rapier and his wife Brenda, special friends, Ruby Ward, Eddie and Christy Ward also survives.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 3:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Tim Gann officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. Military honors will be given. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Thresea and Michelle and Hospice of Chattanooga.The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P. M.
