I was stunned to see Janice's obituary in the Augusta Chronicle this past Wednesday. I only learned of her 10 year battle with Parkinson's disease from a friend this April. She was an excellent wife and I regret our getting divorced. This might seem hard to understand but I never fell out of love with her. I will miss her. But, the fact that she is no longer suffering gives me peace of mind. God brought a beautiful lady into my life and I am thankful I was able to spend quality time with her.
To David, Richard and George I wish you all a long happy life.
Janice was a huge part of the CSRA Duplicate Bridge Club in Augusta. She was tireless in her telephoning for partnerships and was especially good about playing with new players. She was such a good, kind person. The club is not the same without her.
