Jimmy Lee Swaggerty

Jimmy Swaggerty age 80 a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday December 28, 2019. He was the son of the late Dan Swaggerty and Della Hayes Swaggerty Clayton, his wife Minnie Mae Swaggerty and was also preceded in death by his infant brothers, and his brother Herbert Swaggerty. Jimmy retired from Bingham and Guy Roofing with many years of service and was a member of Washington Ave. Baptist Church. He is survived by his children Dennis Swaggerty, Billy Swaggerty, Ricky Swaggerty, Henry “Bo” Swaggerty, Terry Swaggerty, Kenny Swaggerty, Jimmy “Lamar” Swaggerty, David Castell, Sheila Swaggerty and his daughter Sue Swinford, 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, his sisters Christine Swaggerty and Jean Mullins and his brother Doyle Swaggerty along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 o’clock Friday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Bill Swaggerty and Pastor Ron Lesley officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
