Joey Douglas Wilson age 57 a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at his home. He was the son of the late Tommy and Hasle Wilson. Joey was the host at the Cleveland Cracker Barrell with over 25 years of service and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his brother Stanley Wilson. A Remembrance of Life service will be held graveside Thursday at 2 o’clock at Johnston Cemetery in Meigs County with Rev. Donnie Scoggins officiating. I went to school at Waterville with Joey was always friendly. He stayed mostly to himself but always talked to me with kindness and respect. Prayers to his brother Stanley during this time.

I met Joey when I worked at Cracker Barrel. Joey was so helpful and caring. I was the only girl in the dishroom so he was always asking if I was okay. No matter where you saw Joey he was always smiling. Joey was an amazing person. He will truly be missed. Fly high my friend and RIP until we meet again
