Dear Brenda & family:
This morning I was saddened to read of John's passing. John and I shared both challenges and rewards back when we worked together. We also played arm chair quarterback on Monday mornings. Of course John's Sooners were always undefeated unlike my team.
Whenever John spoke of you or Crystal he had a little sparkle in his eye. I'm sure he
had that same sparkle whenever he spoke of his grand and great grand kids.
Beverly and I will keep the Rollins family in our prayers.

I was sadden when I first learned of John’s sickness. I was always thrilled each time he was able to come to one of his great niece’s or nephew’s events. He would sit there with this pleasant expression on his face. I often wondered if he was remembering Ken, Vanessa and Crystal at this age. His quite and gentle manners will certainly be missed. Prayers continue for Brenda and Crystal and family. Love, Pat and David Anderson
I played a lot of ball with John back in the day. He was a really good pitcher when we were pretty young. We were playing one day and I don't remember if it was High School or just summer work up like we played endlessly, but we had come up with some chewing tobacco and being young and dumb were chewing it. John was pitching and had a screamer hit back at him. He swallowed his and got sick as a dog. End of our tobacco chewing days. Sure hated to get the news about John but know where he is now and that we will get to see him again some day.
Was a good uncle who coached me in baseball and had the coolest car in town back in the day in Louisiana . Joe Stewart Tulsa
