John Royce Stewart

John Royce Stewart, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 in a local hospital. Mr. Stewart was born in Gadsden, Alabama and he was the son of the late Lois Martha Helton Stewart and John Wiley Stewart. His first wife, Betty Hill Stewart and sister, Edna Louise "Judy" Davidson also preceded him in death. Mr. Stewart was a U. S. Navy Veteran and he enjoyed playing golf. He also worked as a Commercial Developer in Hawaii where he really enjoyed his work. He enjoyed going to church and he was a Christian.Survivors include his son, Derek Shaun Stewart of Manhattan, New York and many other family members.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Street Chapel with Reverend David Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.
