Juandine "Nanny" Weir

Juandine “Nanny” Weir, 89, passed away Thursday November 18, 2021 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Parker and Estella Harrison and was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Luke Weir; children David and Frank Weir, brothers and sisters: George Byron Harrison, Lilian Harrison Wiley, Cora Meta Harrison Smiley, Franklin Harrison, R.A. Harrison, Leon Harrison, Fleming Harrison, Christine Harrison Weir, Frances Harrison Bacon and Phyllis Harrison Coffee.She was retired from Hardwick Clothes with over 32 years of service. She loved to crochet and taking care of children. She was a babysitter to many children over the years. She cared for many at the First Baptist Children’s Daycare for over 12 years. She was a part of the family at Central Church of Christ.She is survived by her loving daughter Kathy Weir; grandchildren: Heath Weir (Kitty), Lucas Nunn and fiancé Jessica Barnes, Grant Hudson, Ella Nunn, Taj Nunn, great grandchildren: Luke Weir, Maelea Nunn Sienna Nunn and Violet Nunn along with many nieces, nephews, special friend, Dr. Sylvia Krueger and many other close friends.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday at 2pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Minister Ryan Ary officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 until 2p at the funeral home.
