Kathy Saunders Stephenson

Kathy L. Stephenson, age 60, died peacefully Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Cleveland, TN.Kathy was a generous woman who lived a life of Christian care and service towards others. She enjoyed cooking, watching Little House on the Prairie and television gameshows, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She loved all things Christmas and was particularly fond of snowmen. Kathy will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Rev. Christopher A. Stephenson, Ph.D. and wife Rev. Lisa P. Stephenson, Ph.D.; granddaughters Abigail and Bella; brother David Saunders and wife Ellen; sister-in-law Kimberly Barbour and husband John; brother-in-law Gene Stephenson and wife Lee; and four nieces and one nephew.Special appreciation goes to Brookdale Cleveland, Brookdale Mount Vernon Drive, and Hospice of Chattanooga.In lieu of flowers, tax deductible gifts can be made to a scholarship at Lee University for students in financial need, selected by the Stephensons.
