Reverend Kenneth M. Stephens

December 19, 1934 - May 30, 2022

Rev. Kenneth M. Stephens, 87, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away early Monday morning, May 30, 2022. He was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. He was a retired minister of the Church of God, having worked tirelessly in the ministry for over 50 years and serving as an Evangelist and as Pastor of Church of God congregations in Missouri, Texas, and Tennessee. He was loved and respected by all that knew him. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Birtie Mae Austin Stephens & George Lewis Stephens; a brother, Paul Ray Stephens; sisters Georgia Stephens, Barbara Stephens Lode, & Ruth Stephens Harris; his daughter, Virginia Gail Stephens; his son, Richard M. Stephens; and his precious wife, Lorita N. Stephens. He is survived by a grandson, who was reared as a son, Rev. Eric R. Stephens and wife Dr. Kimberly Stephens of Fayetteville, PA; 3 grandchildren: Richard Stephens Jr., Roxanne Pitta and husband Scott of Bridgewater, MA, and Rachelle Senior of Florida; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Pat Stephens, Jerry Stephens Miller; nephews Stevie Spencer and Jerry Miller of Texas, and other numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Linda Ussery and husband Richard of Lexington, KY, and sister-in-law Ruth Savage and husband Sammy of Grand Saline, TX. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2 P. M. at the Dixon Chapel of the North Cleveland Church of God with Rev. Don Stovall, Rev. Rob Baker, Rev. Eric Stephens, Rev. Charles Fisher, Rev. Sandra Williams and Rev. Mark Williams officiating. Additional Services and Interment will be conducted in Wills Point, Texas. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 P. M. Friday at the Dixon Chapel of the North Cleveland Church of God. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the Cleveland Arrangements.
