Lois Marshall

Lois Marshall, 83, of Decatur, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at the family residence. Mrs. Marshall was born in Charleston, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Gladys Velma Melton McDowell and Wilburn Franklin McDowell. Her daughter, Glenda Darlene Marshall, her sister, Elnita Pendergrass and her brother, Donald McDowell also preceded her in death. Mrs. Marshall was a Diet Technician for more than 18 years, starting at Bradley Memorial Hospital and eventually retiring from Cleveland Community Hospital. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling and she loved being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Brittsville Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Linda Marlene Moore (Danny), Donna Moore (Steve) all of Decatur, Teresa Foster, Miles City, Montana, grandchildren, Jennifer Allen (Andy), Amber Schultz (Sam), Wes Foster (Callie), Jared Foster, Heather McClung (Tim), 10 great grandchildren, sister, Phyllis Beavers, Cleveland, nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Ken Purdie and Reverend Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Neeley Cemetery with Nathan Myers, Matthew Myers, Sam Schultz, Tim McClung, Andy Allen and Dewayne McDowell serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 P. M. Sunday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
