Marjorie Darlene Bennett Whitener

Marjorie "Darlene" Bennett Whitener, age 82, a resident of McDonald, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in a Collegedale health care facility. Mrs. Whitener was born in Hanford, California and she was the daughter of the late Viva Eugene Brewer Bennett and Ernest Clyde Bennett Jr. Mrs. Whitener was a High School graduate in Santa Rosa, California. She loved to Crochet and would make Afghans. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, canning and she was a great cook! Mrs. Whitener was of the Protestant Faith.Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Whitener of McDonald, her daughters, Dixie Lee Daniel, Becky Marshall and her husband Doug, Susan Tanner and her husband Stan, Linda Whitener, Carolyn Whitener and Amy Loftis and her husband Gerod all of Fresno, California, her 23 grandchildren, her 4 great grandchildren, her sister, Marilynn Morton of McDonald and several nieces and nephews also survive.There will be no services at this time.
