Mary Ann Bowman

Mary Ann Bowman, age 75, a resident of Birchwood passed away Thursday morning at the residence. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Betty Holcomb and was also preceded in death by her husband Marvin Cliston Bowman, her brothers Bobby, Junior, Pete and Terry Holcomb, her sisters Maybelle Price and Mildred Quisenberry. She was retired from Hardwick Clothes Company with over 20 years of service. After her retirement she started working at Central High School in the cafeteria and also as a cook at the Countryside Restaurant. She is survived by her sons Marvin Bowman and his wife Kathy, Eddie Bowman and his girlfriend Sandra Hatcher, Paul Bowman and his wife Karen, her daughter Margaret Perry and her husband Billy, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Monday morning at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Porter and Rev. James Hughes officiating. The interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm and all day Sunday at the funeral home.Read Obituary
