Mary Helen Rayfield Croft

Mary Helen Rayfield Croft, age 91, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the family residence. Mrs. Croft was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on February 10, 1929 and she was the daughter of the late Lela Gates Rayfield and Ed Rayfield. Her husband, Eugene Bruce Croft, her daughter, Margie Coley Rogers, her sisters, Rosell Swinford and Minnie Lethco and her brothers, Hoyle, Herman, Walter, J. P. and Ralph Rayfield also preceded her in death. Mrs. Croft worked at Sanda Hosiery Mills for more than 20 years and also the Dana Corporation for more than 4 years. Along with her husband Bruce, they built houses in Florida and Tennessee. She was known for having a "Green Thumb"! She could grow anything especially flowers. Mrs. Croft was a member of the Community Hall Church.Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Wheeler and her husband Terry of Lakeland, Florida, Charlotte Millard and her husband Barry of Georgetown and Janice Reagan and her husband Edward of Cleveland, her 9 grandchildren, her 28 great grandchildren, her 13 great great grandchildren, her sisters, Glendene Brewer and JoAnn O'Daniel both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 12:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Jeanne Cissom officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 on Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
