Mary Kate Jackson

Mary Kate Jackson, 28, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was born in Chattanooga and she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vivian Cannon and James Henry Cole and by her paternal grandparents, Eleanor and Jack Kidwell. Mary Kate was a 2013 graduate of Cleveland High School. At the time of her passing, she was employed as a Customer Service Representative with Farm Bureau Insurance. Her Agency Manager, Shane Hooker had this to say about her work ethic; "We were blessed to have had the opportunity to work beside Mary Kate for the past 4 years. She was a constant source of energy in the office for employees and clients alike. She was truly one of the most hard working, resourceful and responsible people that I have ever worked with. We are all grateful that we were able to call her our friend! We will all miss Mary Kate." She was also in the process of getting her Insurance Agents License. She loved the outdoors including four wheeling and going to concerts. Mary Kate was a Methodist.Survivors include her husband, William Jackson of Cleveland; daughter, Kathryne Blair Jackson; son, Zayn Henry Kidwell, both of Cleveland; her mother and father, Alicia and Lance Kidwell, Cleveland; sister, Shayne Leigh Malone (Heath), Richland, North Carolina; brothers, Micah James Kidwell (Stephanie), Old Fort, Tennessee, Luke Anderson Kidwell, Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 12 P. M. until 5 P. M. Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel. Graveside services and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11 A. M. at the Jackson Family Cemetery in Bradley County with her uncle, Reverend Barry Kidwell officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers.
