Mary Brewer Swallows, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away from death into eternal life Friday, September 10, 2021, in a Chattanooga hospital. Her family was blessed to be by her side at her home going. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Mattie Bates Brewer and David H. Brewer. Her brothers, William J. Brewer, David H. Brewer Jr., Walter Fred Brewer and Buddy H. Brewer also preceded her in death. Mary was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of God Ministries.Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Kenneth "Bud" Swallows, children, Jeremy Michael Swallows, (Sunny Hourihan Swallows), Jason Bradley-Swallows, (Michelle Bradley-Swallows), grandchildren, Jessica Swallows Rose, Makinsey Baye Swallows, Claire Olivia Bradley-Swallows, Ethan Patrick Swallows, Jaycee Michelle Bradley- Swallows, great grand daughter, Masden Marie Rose, siblings, Thomas D. Brewer, Rebecca J. Brewer Moore, Jackie L. Brewer, and nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 7 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Street Chapel with Pastor Gary Sears and Pastor James Sears officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted on Thursday at 11 A. M. at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with John Swallows, Joey Swallows, David Swallows, Gary Wood, Shane McAmis, Justin Calhoun and Gordon Swallows serving as casket bearers. The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to "The Clay Jar" helping hands ministry of Mt. Olive Church of God Ministries, 3522 Harrison Pike W. Cleveland, Tennessee 37311. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral Home and Cremation Services North Ocoee Street Chapel who has charge of the arrangements. Mary, you were loved so dearly by so many. I will think of your smile when I canโt find mine and in faith lift up my joy in knowing we will be meet again.
My first friend. Mary was such a sweet, loving person. So glad I was able to share my life with her. I will miss her but whenever I think of her I will have a smile because of all the good memories. Prayers for Bud and all the family ๐๐ปโค๏ธ
