Michael O. Barnes

Michael O. Barnes, age 66, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Endicott, New York, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at the family residence here in Cleveland, Michael was the son of the late Vivian Ann Maier Barnes and Norman Orris Barnes. His sister, Theresa Barnes also preceded him in death. Michael was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 112 in Binghamton, New York. He worked mostly in Heating and Air. Michael was known for his vegetable gardens. It was his passion! He was also an NASCAR fan. Michael was of the Catholic Faith.Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Denise Barnes of Cleveland, his son, Michael D. Barnes and his wife Rebecca also of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Weston Barnes, Michaela Barnes and Annika Barnes, his sister, Kathy Barnes of Orlando, Florida, his brothers, Norman Joseph Barnes and his wife Susie of Pompano Beach, Florida, Noel Richard Barnes and his wife Patricia of Honeoye Falls, New York, Robert Barnes and his wife Andrea of Syracuse, New York, Mark Barnes and his wife Lucy of Zephyr Hills, Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be held privately for the family at a later time.
