Michael Dewayne Clift

Michael Dewayne Clift, age 53, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in a local hospital. Michael was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robbie Elizabeth Teague McKee and James Walto McKee. Michael was a graduate of Charleston High School and he received his Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from Cleveland State Community College. At the time of his death, he was a long haul truck driver with 15 years of service. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing softball and baseball. Michael was a member of the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.Survivors include his son, Justin Clift and his wife Melanie of Englewood, Tennessee, his granddaughter, Moxie Clift, his grandson, Jeremiah Clift, his mother, Johnnie Sue Clift of Cleveland, his sister, Debbie Dodd and her husband Bert of Boaz, Alabama, his brother, Allen Clift of Cleveland, his nephew, Cade Henderson, his nieces, Tiffany Jones and her husband Jerry, Melanie Grisham and her husband Dewayne, his companion, Shelly of Cleveland and his great nephews and cousins also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Johnny Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery with Bert Dodd, Dewayne Grisham, Jerry Jones, Gentry Grisham, Braden Henderson and Justin Clift serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Jase Jones and Lucas Henderson. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P. M.
