Reverend Milas Allman

Reverend Milas Allman,age 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the family residence. Reverend Allman was born in Morganton, North Carolina and he was the son of the late Cosey Taylor Allman and Samuel Ernest "Knox" Allman. His first wife, Grace Doris Whisnut Allman, his second wife, Mary June Allman, his daughter, Ellie May Morgan and his step son, Eddie Mooneyham also preceded him in death. Reverend Allman worked for Cooke Manufacturing with 30 years of service. His life work was traveling and preaching the gospel which he did for 70 years. Reverend Allman was a member of the Church of God House of Prayer.Survivors include his wife, Linda G. Allman, his daughters, Brenda Diane Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary Grace Woods of Cleveland, Sherry Evans and her husband Randy of Dunlap, Tennessee, his son, Samuel M. Allman of Cleveland, his step-son, Jay Sylverster and step-daughter, Shelley Lott both of Mississippi, his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 3:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Ron Leslie and Reverend Bud Tinsley officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 3:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
