Minnie Louise Maples

Minnie Louise Maples, age 73, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 in a South Pittsburg, Tennessee health care facility. Mrs. Maples was the daughter of the late Nellie Hall Brewer and Virgil Lee Washington Brewer. Her husband, William T. Maples, her grandson, Scotty Howard, her son in law, Douglas Howard, her sister, Grace Holt and her brothers, John Darnell and Lee Brewer also preceded her in death. Mrs. Maples was retired from Spring Industries in Dalton, Georgia with 29 years of service. She enjoyed supporting many charities but most of all, she loved being with her grandkids. She attended the Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Linda Howard and Tonya Maples both of Cleveland, her sons, Johnny Garner and his wife Samantha of Red Bank and David Brooks of Florida, her grandchildren, Candace Brooks, Meghann Garner, Alyssa Maples and Shasta Howard, her 3 great grandchildren, her sister, Ethelene Banks of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.Read Obituary
