N. Marie Cooley

N. Marie Cooley, age 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday evening in a local health care facility. Mrs. Cooley was the daughter of the late Annie Johnson Dye and Earl Dye. Her husband, J. C. Cooley, her daughters, Ann Lou Baxter and Eva Sue Catlett and her sister, Della Sue Thomas also preceded her in death. Mrs. Cooley enjoyed sewing and Little Debbie Cakes. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Mrs. Cooley attended the Church of God.Survivors include her daughter, Lennis Burton of Chattanooga, her sons, James Cooley of Athens, Tennessee, Edward Cooley of Cleveland, several granddaughters and grandsons, and great grandchildren, her sister, Phyllis Clark of Cleveland, her brothers, Robert Dye and his wife Judy, William Dye and his wife Francis, Hermon Dye and his wife Becky and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Tim Gann officiating. Interment will follow in the Union McMinn Church Cemetery with Jeff Burton, Terry Burton, Ronnie Godfrey, Danny Catlett, T. J. Wade and Jamie Cooley serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 9:00 P. M. Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
