in honor of Pamela.

Gene, Melody, Morgan, and all your family--you and Pam have been in our thoughts and prayers for some time now. It's been such a difficult journey for you. You have the peace of knowing that Pam is with the Lord now, never to suffer anymore. May you be comforted beyond belief and may you know that you are loved. God bless you, Herbert and Carol Lackey

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I remember her as one great teacher at Lee College. She was also my education adviser as I continued through the program. She had my full respect. I remember how she welcomed her girls into the Walker Memorial building after school was out. She was so proud of them. I also remember how she shared with me the struggles of balancing motherhood, a career, and the doctoral program she was in at the time. I know she cared about education. She had a heart for children of all ages. She helped prepare me for sure. I am very thankful for her direction in those days. I also had the pleasure of teaching with her daughter Melody, who also took after her mother with love for children. She will be missed by so many. God Bless the Browning Family.

I know Pamela from our days at Lee College when we were classmates. We became friends rather quickly, but she was friends with everyone! She had such a sweet personality and that beautiful smile! Although life has taken us in different directions, and we haven’t been close other than class reunions, and other events at Lee, the bonds and friendships made during our time together at Lee have lasted a lifetime! My heart is heavy but know she is now in the presence of God and I celebrate that. We will continue to pray for Gene and the family and have confidence that we will be with her again one day.
