Pearl Gribble

Pearl Gribble, age 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the family residence. Mrs. Gribble was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Clorer Smith and Wilburn Alvin Smith. Her daughter, Claudine Gribble and her son, Gary Gribble also preceded her in death. Mrs. Gribble was retired from the Bradley County Nursing Home with 15 years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to Flee Markets. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. Mrs. Gribble attended Bethel Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Thomas Gribble of Cleveland, her daughters, Jeanette Crouch and her husband Donnie, Kathy Uhaly Gribble, her son, Jackie Gribble and his wife Donna, her 15 grandchildren, her 27 great grandchildren, her 18 great great grandchildren, her brother, John Smith and his wife Slyvila and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor John Smith and Reverend Ronnie Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. on Saturday and again from 2:00 until 8:00 P. M. on Sunday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
