Oh, my sweet Na-na, what a joy it was to be in your presence. How I will miss that sassy (!), sweet tone in your voice. I am praising that you are walking healthy on the streets of gold and rejoicing with Hughbe, oh what a time! I miss you so much and that smile that could light up any room. I love and miss you so much!
Your favorite, Katie :)
SUE WAS A LIFETIME FRIEND. SHE WAS A SISTER MORE THAN A FRIEND. I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF OUR TIME TOGETHER. SOME I PROBABLY WOULD NOT DARE POST. THEY ARE MINE AND SUE'S SECRETS. AFTER SHE MARRIED HUGH AND MOVED AWAY FROM HOME WE ALWAYS STAYED IN TOUCH EITHER BY PHONE OR MAIL. WE SHARED THE BIRTH OF OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR GROWING UP TO BECOME ADULTS. HER A GIRL AND ME A BOY. SINCE SHE WAS LIVING SO FAR AWAY THEIR WERE NOT A WHOLE LOT OF VISITS IN PERSON BUT I DID GET TO VISIT HER ONE TIME IN TENNESSEE BUT ALWAYS WHEN SHE CAME HOME (SHREVEPORT/FORBING) WE GOT TO VISIT. MY LAST TIME TO SEE HER WAS IN 2020 WHEN HER FAMILY BROUGHT HER HOME. I KNEW THEN IT WOULD BE MY LAST TIME TO BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH HER.
I AM THANKFUL EVERYDAY TO ALL OF HER WONDERFUL FAMILY WHO MADE IT HAPPEN. SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND. I CAN HEAR HER LAUGHING NOW. A SOUND I WILL NEVER FORGET. REST IN PEACE MY SWEET SISTER, AND WE WILL MEET AGAIN. LOVE TO ALL HER FAMILY. SHELA
So sorry for your loss of such a sweet lady. My mother worked with Sue at Service Cleaners ages ago. That is where I met Sue when I was a teenager. I remember riding with her to the pet cemetery in Strawberry Plains after she lost little Tubby. She has always held a special place in my heart. She was a constant friend of my mother's over the years. Brought her poinsettias every Christmas and visited over coffee. We will dearly miss this special gem.
Nana, as we called her will be deeply missed by the Johnson family! Nana was a good woman! She took my kids in like they were her own grandkids, bc they were to her! She took them shopping for Christmas pajamas, Easter shoes each year, whatever they needed. She always wanted them to fill included as her family! She would make lasagna for Andrew. He only ate nana’s lasagna! She adored helping people. Always a hard worker! Never sat down when you were around her! The Lord called an angel home to heaven on Thursday. What a glorious day it was for nana! We miss her, but know she is no longer hurting! She is walking the streets of gold with Hughbe! We love you nana!!

I remember taking you to visit your father's family in France, we had such a wonderfu time and that trip cemented our longtime friendship. I will miss you
