Ralph Jackson Rayfield

Ralph Jackson Rayfield, age 89, a resident of Georgetown, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 in a local hospital. Mr. Rayfield was born in Cleveland and he was the son of the late Lela Gates Rayfield and Ed Rayfield. His wife, Rosetta Rayfield, his sister, Roselle Swinford and his brothers, Walter, Herman and J. P. Rayfield also preceded him in death. Mr. Rayfield was a U. S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Along with his son, he owned and operated Rayfield and Son Trucking. For many years, the would transport Military household goods all over the country. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed restoring antique cars. Mr. Rayfield was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church.Survivors include his son, Ralph Dennis Rayfield and his wife Michele of Georgetown, his grandsons, Steven James Rayfield and his wife Melissa, Bobby Joe Rayfield and his wife Brandi, Ryan Dennis Rayfield, his great grandchild, Stephanie Jo Rayfield, his sisters, Helen Croft, Glendean Brewer, JoAnn O'Daniel, his stepson, Daniel Morgan all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 2:30 P. M. at the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
