Roy William Veal

Roy William Veal age 71 a resident of Cleveland passed away Monday December 20, 2020 at the residence. He was the son of the late William Veal and Ruby Morgan and was also precede in death by his wife Joyce Veal. Roy was retired from Whirlpool with over 28 years of service. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter Angie Veal, 2 grandkids Derek Chavis and Destyni Chavis, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Larry Veal and Gary Veal. He was a great dad, brother and friend. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 o’clock Wednesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Gary Higgins officiating. The interment will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.
