Sara "Sally" Ledford

Sara “Sally” Ledford age 75 yrs. passed away Monday April 15 in a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell W Hoggatt, her brother Charles E Ledford and her parents, Marvin P. and Dorothy H Ledford. She is survived by her son Douglas A Hoggatt and his children, Jacob, Megan, Elijah and Noah. She is also survived by two sisters, Rebecca D Beliles (Terry) and Mary E Sebelius and one brother, Harry G Ledford (Cindy). As well as numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from Maytag, during her time there, she participated in bowling and Magic Chef Anglers. In 2016 she retired from Santek Landfill. She was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church. In 1979, she designed the Bulldog for the Monrovia High School football team in Monrovia Indiana. God blessed her with talent and creativity in abundance and she loved to use those abilities for him. She wrote many Christian poems and songs. Sally was a little woman with a giant personality. She was a light that shined so bright, she left some of it in everyone she knew. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday at 11am at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave Chapel with her family and friends sharing their memories of her.Read Obituary
