Sergey Gritsan

Sergey Gritsan, age 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in a local hospital. Mr. Gritsan was the son of the late Ksania Makh Gritsan and Adam Gritsan. His sister, Galina Gritsan and his brothers, Adam Gritsan and Fedor Gritsan also preceded him in death. In his younger years, he was a car mechanic. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and traveling. His life was his church and his family. Mr. Gritsan was a member of the Cleveland Church of Evangelical Faith where he served as a Deacon.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ljubov Gritsan of Cleveland, his daughters, Lidija and Larisa Strelchik and her husband Vasily all of Cleveland, his son, Sergey Gritsan Jr. and his wife Olga of Richland, Washington, his 7 grandchildren, his 5 great grandchildren, his sister, Fedora Kravchuk of Bellevue, Washington and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. at the Cleveland Church of Evangelical Faith with Pastor Boris Balan officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery in McDonald with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends at 7:00 P. M. Friday at the church. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
