Sheila Anne Perez age 50 a resident of Dalton passed away Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the family residence. Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents Rev. Elmo and Edna Woodward. She was a long-time manager of a Subway sandwich store in Dalton with over 25 years of service. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She was loving wife to her husband as well as a devoted mother and grandmother. She had a special aunt Betty Emerson. Sheila loved her church and her church family. She is survived by her husband Guillermo Perez, her children William Perez, Diego Perez, Ivon Hernandez Arrieta and her husband Santana, Lauren Raquel Medina and her husband Fernando, 6 grandchildren, her mother Barbara Greer and her husband “Skip’ her brother Larry Swafford Jr. and her sister Kim Gibson. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. Cody Harris and Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. The committal service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary

Sheila was a great friend! I have so many memories with her that I will never forget. I am so thankful and blessed to have known Sheila! She was a great cook as I often ate her food growing up. She will always remain in my heart! If you didn't know her, you definitely missed out! I pray for comfort and peace in the days ahead for the family! I love you all!
