Shelia "Connie" Kersey

Sheila “Connie” Kersey, age 70, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Sheila was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 23, 1950 to the late Herman Logsdon and Kathleen “Paul” Faulkner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Kersey; and parents. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, DeAnna Cox (James) and Darren Kersey; grandchildren, Paige Stokely, Megan Cox, Hayley Preston, Emily Cox and Lauren Cox and Gracilyn Kersey; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Stokely and D.J. Stokely; siblings, Larry Logsdon (Midge), Robert Logsdon (Vickie), Beverly “Jean” Dietz and Bonita “Bonnie” Edenfield (Mike); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Daniel White officiating. The interment will follow at Earls Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 until 2pm at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends in Shepherdsville Kentucky from 4 until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home; 4895 North Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville KY 40165.
