Tabitha Marie Vanoy Vandergriff

Tabitha Marie Vanoy Vandergriff passed into her heavenly home on Sunday, May 14, 2023. In her 41 years, she was a precious daughter, supportive sister, faithful friend, adoring wife, and nurturing mother. To hear her speak and sing was to listen to a strong gentleness uniquely her own. A powerful alto, she sang with the Lee University Campus Choir, recorded music with various artists, and soothed her babies with comforting songs. Her husband was her knight, and her children were her three treasures.She is survived by her parents, Reverend David L. and Mrs. Joy Vanoy, husband Scott Vandergriff, and children, Zivah, Lily, and Jon. She is also survived by three sisters, Cherie, Carmen, and Kristi. She is preceded in death by her sister, Angelica. Though Tabitha is no longer with us, we rest in the knowledge that she is now in her heavenly home.Her life will be celebrated at 11 A. M. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Jim Rush funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel, located at 2603 N. Ocoee St. Cleveland, TN 37312 with Pastor Dustin Stanley, Pastor Vera Voznyuk and Reverend David L. Vanoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brian Clough, James Hester, Art Moore, Chris Rotella, Randy Daniels and John Williams serving as casket bearers.
