Veronica Carmen

Veronica Carmen age 93 passed away at the Tennova hospital on July 14. Veronica was born on April 19, 1927 to Mary and Sam Toparchan, immigrants from Romania,in Warren, Ohio. She was proud of her heritage and helped many that were called to be missionaries. She and her husband, Virgil attended the Warren Church of God for number of years before moving to Cleveland Tn. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Carmen. The Carmen's moved to Cleveland a number of years ago and served as greeters at the North Cleveland Church of God and as volunteers with the Senior adults where they were members. They won the hearts of so many people. Survivors include their son, Wade and so many friends that loved her.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 10 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. Mitch Maloney and Rev. Cy Harris officiating. Due to current COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our quests and families that we serve.
