Willie Ruth Forgey Ervin

Willie Ruth Forgey Ervin, age 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away early Wednesday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Ervin was the daughter of the late Allie Meeks Forgey and Stirl Houston Forgey. Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Bob Ervin Upholstery Repair for over 40 years. She enjoyed flowers and sewing. She was able to sew anything including fabric on furniture, clothes and pocketbooks. Most of all, she loved her family, friends and spoiling everyone! She attended the Church of God.Survivors include her husband, James R. "Bob" Ervin of Cleveland, her daughters, Barbara McDowell and her husband Yogi, Betty Ervin and her husband Thomas all of Cleveland, her son, Ray Ervin and his wife Renea also of Cleveland, her grandchildren, Zack Ervin and his wife Amber, Hollie Fetzer and her husband Tucker, Brittany Goins and her husband Cody, Brad McDowell and his wife Sheila and Tifanie McDowell, her great grandchildren, Hailey, Hunter and Landn Ervin, Annabella Espinoza, Haley and Josie McDowell, NIkki Snyder and Kelli and Jacob Cooper, Jayla McDowell Blair, her great great grandchildren, Kaidan Sims, Alaina Ware, Jack Snyder, Trinity Gibson, Noah, Jeremiah Cooper, her special friends, Gary and Michelle Hipps, Lexi, Don Scoggins and Wanda Stokes also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Timothy Gann officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Friday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
