Willis Lynn Lyle

July 30, 1941 - February 12, 2022

Willis Lynn Lyle, 80, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 in a local hospital. Willis was born in Cleveland and he was the son of the late Omalea Graham Lyle and Joseph "Joe" Lynn Lyle. His son, Mike Lyle, grandson, Tryston Lyle and brother in law, Billy Whaley also preceded him in death. Willis worked most of his life in Manufacturing plants including Bowaters and Johns Manville. He was a well known Barber in Cleveland also. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing. Most of all he loved being a grandfather and doing things with his grandchildren including going to their ballgames and even coaching them. Willis was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church where he served as director and teacher in Sunday School. Survivors include his children, Joshua Lyle (Jessica), Doug Lyle (Angela), Shelley Lyle, grandchildren, Kylee Lyle, Jaxon Lyle, Spartan Lyle, Asher Lyle, Ricky Lyle, Jessica Lyle, siblings, Linda Whaley, Janice Garner (Dennis), Eddie Joe Lyle (Karen), nieces and nephews. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 A. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Street Chapel with Pastor Shane Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery with Joshua Lyle, Doug Lyle, Jaxon Lyle, Spartan Lyle, Eddie Joe Lyle and Scottie Lyle serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
