Carlene Austin Branam

Carlene Austin Branam, age 80, a resident of Ocoee, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 in a local hospital. Mrs. Branam was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Nellie Belle Roy Austin and William Albert Austin. Her daughter, Felicia Dawn Branam, her sister, Martha Ann Mullins and her brothers, Roy, Sherlin and Leon Austin also preceded her in death. Mrs. Branam was a 1958 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She was retired from Maytag with 32 years of service. She enjoyed Yard Sales and talking to her friends and being a help to them. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Mrs. Branam attended the Church of God.Survivors include her son, Randy Branam and his wife Jane of Cleveland, her grandchildren, Richard Dye Jr. and his companion Lauren, Joseph Branam, Kassee Nychol Burris and her husband Mark, Benjamin Branam and his wife Tammy, her great grandchildren, Raymond Hubbard, Keiylah Dye, Hayli Wisner, Kylynn Dye, Kota Dye, Micah Beard, Lukas Rogers and Gauge Glenn, her sister, Betty Johnson of Decatur, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Jim Hibbard officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mark Burris, Joe Branam, Richard Dye Jr., Gary Austin, Greg Austin and Raymond Hubbard serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
