Charles Womac

Charles Womac, age 69, a resident of Benton, Tennessee, passed away Friday evening at the family residence. Charles was the son of the late Jerry Massingale Womac and Isom Jackson Womac. His brothers, Jack Lewis Womac and David Ray Womac also preceded him in death. Charles worked most of his life in Chair Factories. He enjoyed working on his truck, restoring old trucks and car racing. What he loved to do most was working in his yard and his flower gardens. Charles was a Christian.Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Diane Womac of Benton, his sons, Alan Womac and his wife Cindy of Athens, Tennessee, Dwayne Early and his wife Cindy of Clinton, Tennessee, his daughter, Melissa Parks and her husband Donald of Benton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters, Susan Brewer and her husband David of Cleveland, Martha Withrow and her husband Carl of Decatur, his brother, Ralph Womac and his wife Doris of Dayton, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:00 Saturday October 26, 2019 at his home. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
